Monster Hunter Rise fans can start accessing the PC demo on October 13
Monster Hunter Rise fans rejoiced when Capcom provided more details on the long-awaited title during the recent massive Tokyo Game Show presentation. The Sunbreak expansion will be released next summer, and the PC game launch will be available by January 12. Luckily for fans, they don't have to wait until next year as a demo of the PC version will be available from October 13th.
During the TGS 2021 showcase, Capcom showed the public a preview of the game's cut scenes and also provided more information about the monsters and locations in the game that Monster Hunter Rise players will visit.
It seems the game is an extension of what seasoned Rise players have grown accustomed to, only allowing access once the seven-star Serpent Goddess of Thunder quest is completed. Once complete, players will be able to take their hunter on a journey that will take them out of the main game hub, Kamura Village, and into a brand new base of operations. Unfortunately, this new base has not been revealed.
The strange location that was shown in the official Monster Hunter Rise intro trailer has been revealed to be a new hunting location, complete with castle ruins that players will need to climb with the use of their wire bugs .
The recently revealed Monster Hunter Rise video also confirmed some of the game's new monsters, such as an Elder Dragon named Malzeno. Other than that, no other details were provided. However, fans of the franchise have seen the return of some monsters from Monster Hunter Rise's predecessors, such as Shogun Ceanataur, which, in turn, even got its own intro trailer.
Monster Hunter Rise will support 4K resolution, improved frame rates and textures, ultrawide monitors, and refined keyboard and mouse controls.
