Penny, the original Fortnite builder, is heading to Battle Royale mode

Good news for Fortnite fans, as Save the World's original game builder Penny is heading to battle royale mode in the form of a new skin. As Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 continues to wind down, the leaks and teases have started to trickle in. Penny will definitely be added to the Item Shop as a skin, which a lot of Fortnite fans have been waiting for.

It looks like Penny is part of the Constructor Crew that was added to the game files in the 13.30 update. In Save the World, builders have advantages over other classes when it comes to building, but in battle royale mode this obviously won't apply, Penny will be a skin that will only affect your character's appearance, not how it works.

While a simple skin might not seem like a lot, Penny is a fan favorite, it's a nice excitement as we race towards the end of the season on August 27th. very well now. Epic will normally announce changes at the end of a season fairly early on, and with just two weeks to go, it looks like we're about to experience the new season at the end of the month.

A side note regarding Penny's teasing:

We might also see Kyle from STW coming to BR, the reason I say this is because 11 months ago Penny and Kyle were added as BR replacement skins and were removed/encrypted about 2 updates.https://t.co/6rzKwdgV2C pic.twitter.com/BU72MVRJIM

To add even more excitement, it looks like Kyle, another Save the World builder, might also be part of the Constructor Crew. That makes sense, because you can't really have a one-person crew. It also means we could see even more Save the World skins heading into the Battle Royale mode, which would be a treat for long-time players.
