We have an updated entry in the Monkey Ball super series, and it's called Banana Blitz HD, an HD remaster of the original 2006 title. While Sega is more than happy to have an array of characters for its roster, players also have the option of grabbing one of the company's other lovable characters: Sonic. However, you must unlock it. Here's how you do it.

However, it will take time to catch it. In order for all of the adorable heirs of the hedgehog to be blue, players are going to have to make their way through the first eight worlds in the game. There are no special requirements to pack these worlds, so feel free to cross by any means necessary. All you have to do is make sure they're supported and ready to go.
When players close the eighth world in their lineup, they will immediately grab Space Case Sonic. There isn't much else to unlock this character. After world eight, you should see him join the other characters on the roster screen, and then you're good to go. However, it is important to note that players can only use Sonic in the main game. You cannot take it out to engage in the title's online content or party games.
Sonic does have a few distinguishing characteristics, however. When players use this character in the game, all bananas will turn into rings and the menu music will change to its theme. They're nice touches, but fun and adorable nods to gamers who adore Sega's many products.
