Performance is reliable, but its main downside is range (it only works with a hard connection and its cord is very short) and a lack of customization. This only works if your keys are mapped to their default functions, which might be fine for most people who don't assign them weirdly like I do.

The Kmax1 adapter is a bit of a mixed bag but a great low-cost option. I'm wary of this brand in general, not because the products don't work, but because their longevity isn't usually very long. They are disposable and have inexpensive parts that work well enough for about a year and then deteriorate. It is mainly the cables that tend to separate first, as they are thin and fragile.
It's a great option if you need it now but can't afford a better model.
