A new Fortnite skin may be an exclusive cosmetic tied to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy model.
Companies are taking note of players' love of cosmetic items. While it may be free, additional Fortnite cosmetic items require purchase. Skins are a great way to show off your style. Samsung has noticed that offering additional items can encourage shoppers to purchase an item they are already considering. An upcoming Fortnite skin appears to be connected to the purchase of Samsung's new Galaxy model.
Fortnite News on Twitter shared the image and the rumour. The new skin, Iris, would be connected to Samsung's new Galaxy S11 and S20 models. The phones themselves have not been officially revealed, but were leaked a few days before.
Leaked iris skin is said to be an upcoming exclusive cosmetic for Samsung Galaxy S11/S20. The phones are revealed on February 11.

This wouldn't be the first time Samsung has teamed up with Fortnite for cosmetic items related to their products. For the Galaxy S10 family release, gamers could also get the iKONIK skin. The iKONIK skin was retired in September and replaced with the Glowing Skin, which was also tied to purchasing one of the Samsung Galaxy phones.
Samsung responded to the leak on Twitter. The company hasn't confirmed or denied the skin connection, but instead encouraged the curious to watch the Galaxy Unpacked live stream on February 11, where Samsung plans to announce the new phone models.
I just checked and at the moment we don't have any information on this skin, which seems to be well done. 😉 I suggest watching the Galaxy Unpacked live stream on Tuesday, February 11. Maybe we'll announce something about a new skin, who knows.. ^ Bruce

Thanks to Samsung's response, fans have a feeling the rumor is confirmed. The previous skin, iKONIK, was released similarly, which allowed for further comparisons, which only furthered the validity of the rumor.
We basically have proof now that it will be a promo, thanks to Samsung's response.
– Has no “Featured” rendering and is not in “Featured Items”
– Has no source.
– Matches the K-POP skin that became Ikonik
– Response from Samsung.

The main talking points are the lack of “featured” rendering and source. It also matches the iKONIK skin in terms of aesthetics and design, leading to more speculation.
The only way to know for sure is to watch Samsung's February 11 presentation. Until then, we must content ourselves with gnawing curiosity.
