Epic Games Confirms Fortnite Solo Event

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 – Zero Point ends on March 15 and Epic Games has hinted at what fans can expect from the upcoming event. The “Zero Crisis Finale” will focus on Troy Baker's Agent Jonesy and his efforts to fix reality after Galactus disrupts Zero Point at the end of the final season. All players will be able to play this single-player mission with Agent Jones on March 16. Fortnite is available now for free on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Android, Mac, and PC.

Upcoming Fortnite Event Features Single Player

While Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 ended with a bang as Marvel's Galactus tore through the map, the event included a small taste of singleplayer. It looks like Epic Games wants to continue the single-player event experience with the upcoming “Zero Crisis Finale,” though they haven't teased what that will entail. Agent Jonesy has spent most of Chapter 5 Season 2 hunting down the greatest hunters in time and space, so it's likely the upcoming event will involve some familiar faces.

According to Epic Games, Fortnite fans won't have to catch 'Zero Crisis Finale' live, with the Jonesy mission becoming available to everyone on March 16 before heading to the new map. Jonesy's single-player mission will apparently begin automatically when Fortnite fans first log in to Season 6. Fortnite fans can already see Ground Zero and its various portals around the map acting in very strange ways, which is clearly preparing for the event that is happening in a few days.
