Fortnite's Gorgers are the vanguard of Galactus. They have started appearing in the game, bringing death and destruction wherever they go. These mechanical threats may surprise you if you encounter them during a game. You might also need to track them down for a weekly challenge or to complete a punch card.
How to Find a Gorger
Gorgers will spawn in locations marked with a thin beam of red light descending from the sky. It can be tricky to spot, but keep an eye out for it as you scan the map. If you want, you can catch a Choppa and try to track it down that way. They are large black and red machines, so easy to spot.
They can spawn anywhere on the map, so always be on the lookout for them.
How to Destroy a Gorger
You can only damage a Gorger in a few places, all of which are glowing. Their main eye, which they use to fire powerful lasers at you, is a place you can hit them all the time, but they sometimes glow yellow on their shoulders, letting you do some damage.
They will also spawn smaller robots that do less damage but can just as easily kill you if you don't eliminate them. When destroyed, they fall to the ground and explode after a short time. If you take them before they explode, you can use them as a weapon. They have two firing modes, regular firing and charged firing. The charged shot will use up all ammo but deal massive damage to the Gorger.
You'll need to be careful when fighting the Gorger, as it takes a bit of time to defeat, and you'll be at the mercy of any other passing player if you don't see it first. Just aim for weak spots, use the alien weapons when they fall, and find cover and heal if you need it.
