How to Use a Composter in Minecraft
To use a composter, you will first need to craft one and then place it on the ground. After that, you will need to fill it with compostable materials/items; you can turn a lot of things into bone meal, so check out the list below for all the items you can use in a composter.

Chances are you already have one or more of these items in various chests in your base. If so, pick up those items and head to your newly designed composter. When you are your composter, use your interaction key to put the object inside the composter; keep doing this until it looks like the image above.

Once it appears white at the top of the composter, click on it once, and bone meal will fly nearby. After that, you can then use your bone meal for various things, like growing trees or crops faster.
