Get your sweaty skins ready, Fortnite's Pelé Cup is coming
Epic Games has officially partnered with 23 real-world soccer clubs to bring more official soccer skins to Fortnite. In addition to these new skins, a Pelé Cup will also kick off on January 20, giving players the chance to unlock one of the new skins in addition to a new Air Punch emote inspired by the legendary footballer himself. Fortnite is available now for free on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Android, PC and Mac.
With Epic Games' partnership with 23 real-world football clubs, the following clubs will be represented in-game starting January 23: Manchester City FC, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, AS Roma, Seattle Sounders FC Atlanta United FC, Los Angeles FC, Santos FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, West Ham United FC, Sevilla FC, Sporting CP, Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Schalke 04, VFL Wolfsburg, Rangers FC, Celtic FC, Cerezo Osaka, Melbourne City FC, Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers, CE Bahia.
Fortnite football fans will be able to represent their favorite football club through ten different skins offering the expected variants. Players who participate in the Pele Cup will have the chance to win the Air Punch emote and the Kickoff Set for free, presumably allowing them to choose their favorite from the ten skins. Each football club can be represented on each of the new skins, allowing you to switch to the team that is currently at the top of the leaderboard. The top scorers in the Pelé Cup will also have the opportunity to win a personalized signed jersey, which will provide more incentive to win.
