Warhammer Odyssey is an upcoming mobile MMORPG
Developers Games Workshop and Virtual Realms have opened pre-registration for an upcoming mobile Warhammer MMORPG called Odyssey. Warhammer Odyssey doesn't have an official launch date, but it will be free on iOS and Android devices and will likely contain a number of microtransactions. In Odyssey, players will customize their own adventurer the same way tabletop fans will design their unique characters. There are six classes to choose from in total, and adventurers can enlist in a mercenary company to battle their enemies and participate in the economic life of Marienburg.
Morrslieb, the Chaos Moon, gazes upon Old World, a looming presence that compels the unfortunate to take to the streets, while the monsters of Drakwald Forest are emboldened by the all-knowing presence of the Chaos Moon. Players will choose from six classes available when Warhammer Odyssey launches: High Elf Archmage, High Elf Ghost Warrior, Human Witch Hunter, Human Warrior Priest, Dwarf Slayer and Dwarf Engineer. Classes will change the game, as the Archmage's offensive spells and restorative healing differ dramatically from the Hunter Sorcerer's crippling defenses and rapid fire. As lifelong Warhammer Online fans, we love the dwarf options available in Odyssey. Players will be able to band together to defeat powerful enemies, and the most successful groups will have various classes complementing each other.
Old World is the main setting of Odyssey, and the town of Marienburg is the main town for adventurers to trade, chat, and accept quests. The game will grow through frequent free episodic content updates that will add more enemies, bosses, locations, and characters. familiar to Warhammer fans and will likely impress those new to the series adventurers.
