If you've been waiting to see what Minecraft will look like with RTX enabled, your wish has been granted. Although the beta has been out for a while, this new update brings new stabilization and bug fixes to the game. essentially your game in the in-development version of Minecraft.
You'll want to be careful when participating in the beta, as any worlds you play can't be opened in previous versions of the game, so you'll want to make copies of any worlds you're particularly attached to. The beta will also be unstable, so it might not be the most fun way to play, if you're looking to really enjoy the game.
This beta is only available on the Xbox One, Windows 10, and Android (Google Play) versions of the game. So if you're on other platforms, or playing Java on PC, you won't be able to participate!
If you're on a PC, you'll also need to make sure you have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX video card to see what it's all about. This is what enables ray tracing and makes Minecraft particularly appealing!
