Finally, after a long wait, all Minecraft fans can finally play and enjoy the officially released version 1.18 of Caves and Cliffs update. As promised, it includes a complete overhaul of terrain generation on the overworld and underworld, as well as a number of entirely new biomes.
In this month's pick of the best Minecraft 1.18 seeds, we'll explore all the new biomes with all their unusual, never-before-seen block builds. You will discover huge holes in the ground, extremely high peaks, unnatural biome combos and many other cool features.

Spawns on a dual island with a raider outpost on one and a village on the other at coordinates 950, -250. There is also a third island nearby at coordinates 200, -100, but it is uninhabited.

The three colonies stand around a tiny biome of snowy slopes that has generated amidst all this warm and lush environment, which is not at all unusual for Minecraft 1.18.
The underworld consists of almost nothing but trickling caves. So if you're interested in drop themed decorations, this should be right up your alley.

Some Minecraft 1.18 seeds can be used in both Java and Bedrock editions. Well, this is one of those seeds.
You'll spawn next to a village with a ruined portal that can take you directly to the Nether Fortress and the Bastion Remnant in the Netherworld.
This will not only prove ideal for obtaining rare materials, but also for solid loot.

The village at coordinates 1100, -500 is conveniently placed right between the two jagged peaks biomes, protecting it from both sides.

The two villages generate on different biomes: regular plains and snowy plains. There is an exposed ruined portal next to the plains village and an igloo with basement next to the snowy village at coordinates -150, 100.
An ocean biome is located east of the spawn, and the first monument can be seen directly from shore at coordinates 850, 150.

Here is the seed that clearly demonstrates the possibilities of terrain generation in Minecraft 1.18.
You will find half and half jungle with stony peaks and forested badlands with desert at coordinates 300, -650. If you thought 1.17 terrain generation was weird, then this is on a whole new level.
At coordinates 500, -400 you can locate a desert temple with some nice loot inside.

Snowy Islands were super rare in Minecraft 1.17, but in 1.18 they are much more common.
You can find such an island with a village and an igloo at coordinates -750, 600. It is located right in the middle of the frozen ocean, which makes it easy to reach on foot.

Spawns right between a plains village to the east at coordinates 50, -150 and a jungle temple to the west at coordinates -250, 100.
The wide variety of biomes in this area is staggering, as you will find eight different biomes right at spawn, including Dark Forest, Birch Forest, Bamboo Jungle, Savannah, Sparse Jungle, and many more.

If you are looking for an island village not too far from the coast, then this seed is for you.
The island village is located at coordinates -400, 350 with a nearby ocean monument at coordinates 100, 150.

You'll spawn right next to a zombie village on the stony shore of a fairly large lake.
Travel to coordinates -400, -400 for a jungle temple that stands directly across from a wooded mansion at coordinates -800, -450.
The entire underground area of this part of the world is filled with lush cave biome.

Here is another snowy island with a village and two igloos, one of which has the basement. This entire enclave is located at coordinates -700, 900.
Half the island is oddly a swamp with warm beaches, but that's Minecraft 1.18 for you.

Spawn west of one of the largest Mushroom Island biomes you've ever seen. In fact, it's not too uncommon for Minecraft 1.18 to spawn huge biomes that were rare in previous updates.
This island can be seen at coordinates 400, -50. In the very center of it is a huge ravine with exposed caves.

Biomes: Windswept Savannah
Shattered Savannah has remained one of the most interesting biomes in Minecraft so far, but Mojang has now introduced a new Windswept Savannah biome that is more chaotic and fragmented.
When spawning, you will see two Acacia Villages that occupy part of the Windswept Biome, allowing you to explore this unique biome in more detail.

We've seen many survival islands in the ocean, but we've never seen any in the swamp biome. It wasn't natural for Minecraft to generate islands in the middle of swampy land before.
Well, in Minecraft 1.18 you can find this unusual phenomenon at coordinates -550, 400. You can also find a nearby witch hut at coordinates -300, 300.

The snowy canyons are some of the most beautiful, but also the rarest sites in the Caves and Cliffs update.
At coordinates 750, -300 you will find such a canyon with a small frozen lake and a snow village.
